The Good News

God is jealous for you.  He ordained every one of your days, writing them in His book before there was yet one of them.  His thoughts about your are more than the sand at the seashore.  Our iniquities separate us from God, we *all* sin and fall short.  Sin leads to death, but God’s desire for us is only good, He desires peace, hope and a future for us.  He lowered Himself, put on human flesh and dwelt among us in the person of Jesus the Christ His only begotten son.  He bore our sins, the shame of the cross that we might be set free from sin, and restored to relationship with Him.  He’s done the work, it’s finished, we simple have to receive it, believe that God raised Him from the dead.  When we do, we are reborn spiritually and we become children of God, He pours His love into our hearts by His spirit which abides in us.  We are then called to go out and share this Good news with others, compelled by the love His love, pleading with other to be reconciled to God!!

[Psa 139:16 NKJV] 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When [as yet there were] none of them.

[Psa 139:17-18 NKJV] 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 [If] I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

[Jer 29:11 NKJV] 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

[Rom 3:23 NKJV] 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

[Rom 6:23 NKJV] 23 For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

[Pro 11:23 NKJV] 23 The desire of the righteous [is] only good, [But] the expectation of the wicked [is] wrath.

[Deu 30:19-20 NKJV] 19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 “that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He [is] your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

[Rom 10:9 NKJV] 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

[Jhn 14:6 NKJV] 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me

[Jhn 3:14-18 NKJV] 14 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 “that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

[1Pe 2:24-25 NKJV] 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

[Psa 139:3 NKJV] You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.

[Mic 6:8 NKJV] 8 He has shown you, O man, what [is] good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

[2Co 5:14-21 NKJV] 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know [Him thus] no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things [are] of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore [you] on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
