Well we have wrapped up the holiday season and are back to normal schedule. The kids are in full swing of preparing for Drama Camp in March. Liah was very excited to get the part of the Tortoise in Tortoise and the Hare. Right now as I type she’s practicing her solo. Blake and Hannah also got the parts they wanted. Blake will be a soldier in the King David play and Hannah is going to make the cutest mouse ever up on stage with Liah. This morning the kids raced to get their schoolwork done so they could go out and go sledding on our hills now that we finally had a good snow. I can’t express how much I LOVE that we have awesome sledding hills right in our own yard. I’m not a huge fan of the cold and so I love that I can send kids out and watch them from the warmth of my house with a hot coffee or tea in hand. While we enjoy these lazy days of winter we are missing our ministry adventure.
We have started initial planning for our next ministry trip out!!! While its still a few months away I know its going to fly by and it will be here before we know it! Right now the tentative plan is to go west. We are praying about where we are suppose to go and for how long. We will probably be traveling a few more weeks than we were last time. The biggest difference will be that we are going to bring Gershom with us this time. I’m a little nervous about this. He has done so well on short trips but I’m not sure how its going to go on a long trip. While I love that little pug…..he can sometimes add more chaos than needed. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us this spring! The kids have been to California but we are excited to see a huge part of the country that we have never explored! I know that it will be quite a Family Ministry Adventure!!!
