On the Road Again

We made it out!  We are excited to see what the Lord has for us in these next few weeks.  Today we have been driving for 11 hours so far and have 4 hours left.   We did not get on the road like our usual 3am departure time so we are arriving later than Read More…

Musing

On the drive down (and as it turned out, most of the trip), couldn’t help but think of this Psalm, musing on the work of His hands: I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands. Psalm 143:5

Overcoming Fear

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 So this is our final night.  Tomorrow, Lord willing, we will be tucked into our beds at our house with hopefully much of the unpacking done.  Today while driving Josh commented Read More…

Trip Update

So I had every intention of updating the blog at every stop.  But the internet has been quite the obstacle and after fighting it for so long I decide that I’d rather go to sleep!  So when we get back we have posts and pictures but I guess they’ll just have to wait.  I even Read More…

He Chose the Thorns!

Our first stop on the trip out was Oklahoma City for an over night at Twin Founatins RV Park.  Great park if you’re passing through Oklahoma City!  A bit of road noise, but a very clean and well maintained park. We picked up a round of 18 at their onsite mini golf course.  Quite a Read More…

Headed Out!!

Excited to be headed out again!  Headed to the West Coast, to see what good works God has ordained for us, that we may walk in them.  Praying for good weather and a sensitive heart to catch where God is working and where He can use our family, to encourage, exhort, bless and share the Read More…

Planning and Can’t Wait!

Well we have wrapped up the holiday season and are back to normal schedule.  The kids are in full swing of preparing for Drama Camp in March.  Liah was very excited to get the part of the Tortoise in Tortoise and the Hare.  Right now as I type she’s practicing her solo.  Blake and Hannah Read More…

RV Life: Large Family Style

So in the almost 5 weeks on the road I think we learned that traveling with 6 kids in an RV was a blast and also difficult at times.  I must say that our kids are absolute awesome travelers!  We drove 17 hours in a downpour rain and we barely heard a peep out of Read More…

Little Man

Little Man has become quite active and has discovered his mischievous side on the trip.  If a drawer was open or a clothes bin left out he would empty it in minutes.  He also has become quite the climber.

Thank you Cherry Blossom!!

We had a wonderful week in Dothan at Cherry Blossom RV Park.  Highly recommended.  Southern hospitality did not disappoint!! What an amazing Staff Miss Barbra has working there.  We were all truly sad to depart, the fresh pecan bread and cookies baked for us only made it harder 🙂  Can’t wait to return.
